Submit a Subrogation Demand

Unless already submitted to the state's insurer, carriers submitting a subrogation demand should submit to the State of Rhode Island Office of Risk Management (ORM). The submission must include sufficient documentation to evaluate liability and damages. All demands must include:

(1) a Claim Summary describing the incident, involved parties, dates, and claimed losses; and
(2) a Liability Analysis outlining the legal or factual basis for seeking recovery from the State. 

Demands submitted without these documents cannot be reviewed.
